Software
Installed or hosted Bacs approved software. This can be used to support direct or indirect submission, therefore comes as a standard or bureau installation. In all cases you can opt to validate files using a card or automate submission via an HSM.
Access is secure and configurable, and files are fully encrypted for submission. RTI compliant, built in modulus checking across all products.
Bureau Services
All you need is to be registered with Bacs and have a Service User Number (SUN) from your bank.
This will enable us to process Bacs payment files on your behalf. Our Bureau service has been designed to simplify your payment processes and complete your Bacs payments after your initial file submission, ensuring full compliance with all Bacs processes.
A full audit history and Bacs reports are available to view online at any time to help you resolve any queries you may have and for anything else, our dedicated Support team are always on hand to assist you further. This pay as you go service can be invoiced monthly to reflect your usage. Starting from as little as £30 a month, it is ideal for low volume submissions.
Contingency
Whilst seemingly unlikely, nearly every organisation will experience instances where they are unable to submit their payment instructions to Bacs.
Lost, damaged and expired smartcards as well as things like hard disk failure, virus attack and accidental server wipes are all everyday examples of where the need for a Bacs contingency plan is especially important.
Our Bacs Contingency uses SmarterPay’s own Bureau to safeguard your Bacs environment and ensures that you’ll always be able to pay your staff, suppliers and collect revenue from your customers.
